We provide free, one-on-one, in-person tutoring for adults who:

What to Expect:
We offer free in-person GED support with a tutor. - One-on-one guidance tailored to your needs - Help build skills in tested subjects - Computer-based GED practice tests available at the library - Referrals to official testing locations
Build confidence using computers and technology in everyday life. - Learn basic computer skills - Use Microsoft Office programs - Search the internet effectively - Navigate online forms and resources
Our Family Literacy program supports adult learners and the children in their lives.
To participate, the parent or caregiver must be (or become) an adult literacy learner in the Calaveras County Literacy Program.

We are working to expand literacy services to all Calaveras County library branches. Availability depends on tutor capacity and scheduling. Current and developing locations include: - Angels Camp - Arnold - Copperopolis - San Andreas - Mokelumne Hill - Murphys - Valley Springs - West Point
