Library Card Information

Library card applications are provided for printing online as a courtesy, you still must be present and supply valid proof of identification and residency before a card can be issued. Bring your proof of identification and completed library card application to your branch library.

Acceptable Photo ID's

  • California Drivers License
  • California Identification Card
  • Passport
  • Military Identification Card
     

Proof of Residency (If not on photo ID)

  • Vehicle Registration
  • Voter Registration
  • Utility Bill
  • Credit Card statement with address
  • Bank Statement with address

You can use your library card number to access your personal account through the ELIBRARY icon. Click on My Account to review your account, change your pin and renew materials online. Your card also allows you to access eBooks(Overdrive), magazines and LINK+ interlibrary loan service using the icons on the webpage.  

You can print the application form and fill it out, but to receive a card and library ID number, you must visit a library. Be prepared to show your ID and residence verification when you go. If you have lost or damaged your card, please report this to the library as soon as possible at (209) 754-6510. You can purchase a replacement card for $1.00 at any branch.
